Christopher
"I tell people all the time, ‘You need to call PAD!’ I’ve been making it to all my doctor’s appointments, I’m on my medications, my health is coming back, and I can’t thank PAD enough. We need y’all.” Click here to read more.
Jeremy
“The officers would tell me, ‘When you’re ready to get help, you can get help.’ So one day I woke up on the street and I didn’t want to struggle anymore and I didn’t wanna use anymore, I was just sick and tired of being sick and tired so I went to one of these officers and I said I’m ready.” Click here to read more.
Mary
“I ended up living on the street for about six months. I was living in a vacant house until the police were called to tell me to get out. Emma and Bean from PAD helped me move from the vacant house and find affordable housing. I’ve been living here for a year now. They’re working on getting me on with social security. They always seem to come around when I need them.” Click here to read more.

After being diverted to PAD in March 2022, he demonstrated a strong desire to regain stability in his life and began working towards his goals alongside his Care Navigator, Eugene. Joe
When Joe first connected with PAD, he was experiencing homelessness, struggling with substance use, and seeking stability and support. With PAD's guidance, Joe sought resources from a local crisis center and pursued substance use treatment from Nspire. PAD supported Joe's goals by helping him secure housing through the Georgia Housing Voucher Program, and recently, we celebrated Joe's latest achievement - the purchase of his own car!
