Christopher
In an interaction with law enforcement, Christopher asked the Midtown Blue officer to call PAD because he was experiencing an active mental health crisis. PAD’s team of Community Responders arrived to provide immediate assistance onsite and connected Christopher with his Care Navigator, Reese, who diligently supported him in the process of getting him the help and resources he needed.
“PAD is what it is, y’all,” he remarked. “Thanks to Reese I got my Georgia ID, my birth certificate, my Grady card, and my medications.”
“They’re not going to babysit you,” he added. “You gotta take the steps, but help is not easy to find anymore. Even my probation officer is interested in this program. I tell people all the time, ‘You need to call PAD!’ I’ve been making it to all my doctor’s appointments, I’m on my medications, my health is coming back, and I can’t thank PAD enough. We need y’all.”
